Quilters' corner
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! One of the many ways we provide for our communities is through our yearly quilt donations. Through the monthly efforts of some of our members and our annual confirmation tie quilts we are able to donate dozens of quilts to raise money for various non-profit organizations in our communities.
These quilts support local organizations such as Lutheran Island Camp in Henning, The Eagle's Nest in Sauk Centre and many other organizations. If you would like to participate you may join the ladies on their monthly quilting days which can be found on our calendar page.

The Quilting Group of St. Matthew's/Immanuel Churches have made 81 warm, winter hats for children. Hats were donated to Tri-County Community Action Partnership in Todd Co. Families in this program qualify at 100% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

During the Holidays remembering those isolated is more important then ever this year. Members living in Assisted Living or Nursing Homes from the sister churches of St. Matthew’s and Immanuel were given holiday gifts. Ladies received fleece ponchos, the men received lap blankets. Our friends will know they are remembered and can stay warm wrapped in God’s love.
